Leading Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is urgently looking for Passionate and Dedicated Senior SLP/ Speech-Language Pathologist for their Otolaryngology Department. Unique experience to be working in the KSA in a prestigious international standard Hospital alongside a team of internationally qualified and experienced healthcare professionals- western expatriates.
Opportunity to travel, to explore new culture and tradition, while making a difference and bringing contributions through your skills, knowledge in your field of expertise- Speech-Language Pathology.
Essential requirements:
-Western educated, trained and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with current registration and valid professional license;
-Bachelor Degree in the field of Speech Language Pathology from an accredited University/College; Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences or related field- from an accredited University/College;
- ASHA Certification- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC )- or equivalent similar Specialist Certification in area of specialty-advantage;
-Senior Speech Language Pathologist with specialist training, education and demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, knowledge, skills and expertise in: Medical Speech- Language Pathology, Critical Care Management, Tracheostomy and Ventilator Management; Dysphagia/Swallowing disorders- Adults and/or Pediatrics; Instrumental Assessment of Swallow Disorders: VFSS/Video Fluoroscopic Swallowing Study/Vidoefluroscopy and/or FEES/Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing;
-At least 7 years of current post graduate experience in the field of Speech and Hearing Sciences/Speech-Language Pathology in a Tertiary Care Hospital ( or Rehabilitation Center ) - whereas currently working for the last 3 years as a SLP/ Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor or in a Supervisory Capacity/Senior Role;
-Current CPD- Continuing Professional Development;
- Skills: Prevention, Evaluation, Intervention, Research-Basic and Evidence-based;
-Excellent English language knowledge and skills; Arabic language knowledge and skills- advantage;
- Excellent Communication skills, along with outstanding Listening and Teaching skills; Organizational skills, Time Management skills, Leadership Skills, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills; Empathy, Compassion, Patience, Attention to detail; Honesty, Integrity, Strong Ethics, Advocacy for profession, Objectivity, Analytical Ability, Strong Values, Respect, Entrepreneurship, Flexibility, Energetic, Quick timely response, Ability to cope to different situations are only some of the qualities and attributes that the Senior SLP/ Speech Language Pathologist needs to possess;
